New Pornographers frontman AC Newman to play Ithaca 3/10

After last spring’s unexpected wall-to-wall sellout at the State Theatre, we confirmed our suspicions that Ithaca is an indie-rock mecca. That show and others like it (Andrew Bird, for instance) cemented our fair town on the “we should play there” lists of the best touring acts. So with that in mind, we have secured the NP’s (and Zumpano) frontman and chief songwriter, Mr. AC “Carl” Newman to appear in a support of 
Fitting nicely into a lineage that includes Ray Davies, Harry Nilsson, Ben Folds and Britt Daniel, Carl will release his second solo offering, Get Guilty, in late January, just in time for the show. Check out acnewman.net for more… the new single is here: AC Newman – There are Maybe Ten or Twelve
